In this hallway installation piece I wrote quotes and ideas that I felt were compelling on small pieces of paper and covered an entire hallway with them. I then provided slips of paper so passerby could write their own and tape them to the walls, as well as take ones that interested them.  

Made to give rather than sell, For the revelations that are written down and forgotten between pages is a set of 20 handmade notebooks made from fabric, leather and paper scraps, found buttons and sticks. With only six pages in each, owners must carefully deliberate what to fill them with, identifying what is important to them. Wall hangable and pocket sized, they then serve as reminders for what is normally written down in a large notebook and then forgotten.

Initially, the floor wasn't visible. It was covered with papers of startling statistics and inspirational stories. As people came in the papers got dirty and shuffled. People ate junk food, watched sex and the city and wasted their time in the midst of issues that needed their attention.

This wall hanging was created when I was instructed to deconstruct a wooden chair so that it would no longer resemble one.
